Chief Minister, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, lauded the invaluable efforts of engineers in promoting the welfare of humanity and driving the state's development.
Speaking at a blood donation camp organized by the Association of Service Engineers of Tripura (ASSET) in Agartala, Dr. Saha emphasized the government's commitment to infrastructure development as outlined in the proposed budget for the 2023-24 Financial Years.
Highlighting the significance of rural development, the Chief Minister acknowledged the role of engineers in this endeavor and commended the central government's dedication to rural progress, particularly in supporting farmers. He praised engineers for their silent yet vital contributions to various sectors, emphasizing that progress would be hindered without their expertise.
Expressing contentment with Tripura's ongoing development, Dr. Saha recognized engineers' indispensable role in facilitating progress and bridging the gap in the engineering sector with recent promotions. He commended the proactive approach of the current government in addressing public issues and anticipated significant future development in India.
Additionally, the Chief Minister praised the positive changes in the northeast region, attributing them to the concerted efforts of the Central government and engineers. He cited historical projects such as the Pyramid construction as examples of engineers' crucial contributions to the country's progress.
Finally, Dr. Saha appreciated the overwhelming response from society during a blood crisis, underscoring people's dedication to social welfare. The Chief Minister's remarks highlight the significant role of engineers in advancing the state and country toward a prosperous future.
