Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday announced 3% DA and DR for the government employees and pensioners with effect from April 1. With the 3% hike announcement, total DA increased to 33% narrowing down the gap with the Central DA to 20%.
Dr Saha made the announcement on the first day of the Tripura Assembly Budget session on Friday.
"We have decided to provide 3% DA and DR for government employees and pensioners," Saha said while addressing the state assembly.
