A delegation of Tripura Commission for Women visited Teliamura Hospital to get information about injured Jamati Reang who became victim of brutal attack by CPI-M cadres at Hazrapara.
Chairperson of TCW Barnali Goswami and Member of the commission Mousumi Das were in the delegation among others. They listened description of the incident of brutal attack on her from her husband Jyotilal Reang and got information of her treatment.
They also talked with lady doctor of the hospital and SDMO. Besides, TCW assured to stay along with her and provide financial assistance to her.
Later the delegation visited Hazrapara and Mungiakami Police Station. The delegation demanded to arrest the miscreants immediately who are involved with the attack. It was reported earlier that none of the village went to see injured Jamati Reang who was moaning for 22 days at house in injured condition. Even police did not give any response at first stage and wanted to suppress the incident through mutual understanding.
Meanwhile the news published in news papers when the woman got admission at Teliamura Hospital. The publication of the matter brought sense to Mungiakami Police Station. They filed the case under case number 09-2018 and according to section 341/326/354/ 34 of IPC and arrested main accused Dasharath Reang.
Police produced him in the court yesterday and the court ordered him to stay in Jail custody for 14 days. From information it reveals that Police arrested Charania Reang and Lab Kumar Reang today who are involved with the incident.
