The second conference of TKMU was held at CPI(M) Sonamura Sub-Divisional Office Hall today. Representatives of Sonamura and Bishalgarh sub-divisional committees of the district participated in the conference.
The conference was inaugurated by TKMU State President and CPI (M) Sepahijala District Secretary Vanulal Saha. CPI(M) MLA Shyamal Chakraborty, former leader, and CPI (M) SepahiJala district secretariat member Radha Vallabh Debnath give his speech. Delegates from the two sub-divisions presented the editorial report and held constructive discussions. At the end of the conference, they announced the names of 29 Sepahijala District Committees for the next three years.
The leadership was elected as the president Pradesh Roy from Bishalgarh subdivision and the secretary was elected as Radhaballav Debnath from Sonamura subdivision. The speakers called upon the leftist workers' organizations to work as the workers of the agri-workers' organizations in order to win the huge votes of the leftist candidates in the upcoming 23rd general elections.
