A mysterious incident has triggered the entre Tingharia village today. In a tragic incident, three indigenous workers died when working in a deep latrine pit here in Tingharia Madhya Para village under Ampi Nagar RD block in Gomati Tripura in the afternoon today.
As per the details, three young Jamatia workers from Teliamura Trisha Bari village came to work in Surjya Jamatia's house in Tingharia village today. They had constructed a deep latrine tank last April month here in Surjya Jamatia's house and covered the tank before leaving their work. After a long period they did not work nor did they open the tank. Today they have come to work on the internal implementation of the tank. There was a deep pit of latrine where they had to work. At first, one boy entered there but did not come out for a long time then another worker entered to check the first one and no response. Like this way total three workers have entered there but no one returned.
When people felt there was something abnormal incidence happened then they enquired about the labourers. Then they have detected them interior the pit in an abnormal condition. The villagers immediately informed the Amarpur fire service authority. They came and recovered the labourers and took them Amarpur hospital. The doctor on duty declared them dead in the hospital.
Sources said that due to gas or dearth of oxygen they died in the banker-like underground pit. The police is investigating the reality of this mysterious incident. A deep shadow of gloom has descended in the entire area of Tingharia.
