The students of Dinanath Narayani Vidyamandir who appeared Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination have locked the school and staged a road blockade on demand of allowing all students in the Test Examination.
Meanwhile a section of students and guardians alleged that the teachers do not provide teaching at the school properly. As a result 37 students out of 87 failed in test of Madhyamik and 87 students out of 228 failed in test of Higher Secondary exam.
In the meantime the students demanded to allow all students by collecting Rs. 50 from all failed students. At the same time the students alleged that collection of fee for recheck was bribe for allowing the payee students only.
Meanwhile a teacher fled away in the toilet by putting the recheck fund collected from students in pocket in fear of media. The incident created tension among the students.
On being informed headmaster Krishna Jyoti Bhattacharjee rushed to spot and he declared that passing all students is not possible according to direction of Board and fund for recheck is being collected according to instruction of Board.
Later police rushed to the spot and an initiative has been taken to solve the problem through a meeting among School Managing Committee, guardians and teachers.
