Minister of states Human Resource development and today inaugurated the newly constructed sports of complex of National Institute of Technology Agartala.
While addressing the gathering aftermath the inauguration he said, such a sports complex will felicitate the entire region with classy sporting spirit. Not only the students being taught in the institute, the sports loving people of entire state will be befitted to avail the facility of world class sports.
Highlighting on the benefits of sports he said, when a country gains fame in games it passively depicts the country or the region is healthier than the rest and it encourages societal spirit among people.
Later on, the Minister was felicitated by the institution. Director of NIT Harish Kumar Sharma handed over a memento to the Minister to mark his visit.
Notably, the multi-purpose sports complex constructed at the cost of rupees 60 crore contains distinguished sporting courts including lawn tennis, badminton, indoor stadium etcetera.
