Tripura Sports School has been practicing hard for the past few days for the upcoming Subrata Mukherjee Cup Football tournament as they will represent Tripura in the tournament in Boy’s category.
The tournament will start from September 9 at New Delhi as this year the team has been formed with bunch of junior players. Only two players from this team have the experience of playing at the national capital while the rest will be fresh.
At the end of today’s practice session Coach Abu Taher said,” It will be tough to be the best as this time the team has lots of new faces from under 14 level as I am thinking about how these players will express them in the tournament. But still I am trying my level best to prepare the players for the tournament.”
In this tournament Sabat Jamatia will lead the side. Tripura Sports School will leave for the tournament on September 2 by road with tons of hope.
