Second Division League Football: Town remains at top with huge win

AGARTALA:

After a couple of day’s gap Second division league football tournament with the initiative of Tripura Football association started from today as in the match at Swami Vivekananda stadium Town club defeated Friends Union by 4-0. With this win Town Club also hold their number one slot in the points table while Friends Union stayed at the bottom.

With 19 points from 7 matches, Town Club already booked their place for the super stage being at the top. As the tournament is progressing the hunger for win of the players has been increasing quite drastically which is the main reason behind this huge success of Town club. On the other hand with 15 points from similar matches Birendra Club stayed at the second position.

On the other hand with just one point from 6 matches Friends Union almost booked their place for the downfall. From the start of the match Town club played attacking football but failed initially to score goals. But as the match progressed Town club came to their real picture. Debu Harijan, Pritam Sarkar, Lal Eng Muiyah Darlong and Sabbid Ahmed scored the goals today.
