Tripura Sports School and Sai Sag have been knocked out from the super race as the match between these two sides today has been ended up in 1-1 draw. This was the important match of the ongoing Second division league football tournament organized by Tripura Football association.
Both the teams stayed at the same position with 8 points each from 7 matches they have played respectively. In the match today Tripura Sports School started to play well in the first half but as the match progressed they lost their track and missed the chance to get full points from the match. Also there was lack of stamina in the players of the two sides and thus the match ended in draw.
In the first half of the match both the teams scored their respective goals. In the 20th minute of the match Akash Tripura scored the opening goal for Sports school from penalty while 14 minutes later Swapan Telenga scored the equalizer for Sai Sag with a superb header. Till the end no more further goals have been scored by any teams and thus the match ended in 1-1 draw.
