Allegation of attempt to murder of a school student raised against a club of Udaipur today as he expressed inability to pay subscription for Durgapuja of the club.
Sources said that Bishal Tripura (13), a student of class – VIII at Udaipur English Medium School stays at rented house of Haripad Roy at west bank of Amar Sagar. His father Apada Kumar Tripura filed a complaint at R.K. Pur Police Station that Pragati Sangha of the area handed over a subscription receipt amounting Rs. 2000 to Bishal for Durgapuja. But Bishal expressed inability to pay the amount.
Later he was caught by some youths when was coming from Udaipur Town at 7:45 p.m. yesterday and he was thrown in a pond by tying in a sack. Anyhow Bishal succeeded to rescue himself from the sack and described the incident to his father. The incident created a tensed situation at Udaipur.
