Ruling party backed miscreants set fire and attack houses of Cong leaders

Congress raised question whether rule of law is prevailing in the state when a group of miscreants backed by ruling party set fire at the house of Teliamura Block Congress president in last night. Meanwhile Teliamura Congress Committee met SP raising an allegation of inactive role of local police stations.

Speaking to media Khowai District Congress President Bikram Sinha alleged that the miscreants under shelter of political party attacked Congress workers and supporters, set fire at house and threatened them. He said, at first the miscreants started to through stone at house of Block Congress president Kamal Das at about 11p.m. at Hawaibari village on Friday. At about 12:30 p.m. the miscreants set fire at corner of the house. Although they extinguished fire themselves. On being informed police rushed to the spot.

Meanwhile some highly interested miscreants of ruling party attacked the house of Kalyanpur Block Congress president Ashoke Deb at broad daylight on September 5. Besides, the miscreants also tried to attack house of State Seva Dal president Nityagopal Rudrapal at Pulinpur. In such a situation Congress demanded necessary security arrangement to SP to conduct the by-poll of Panchayat in an environment without fear.

Antacids, multivitamins, and antibiotics are among the medicines that will become cheaper, according to a notification issued by the Department of Pharmaceuticals and National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA).
