BJP staged a road blockade on the main road from Belonia to Jolaibari at Ratanpur ADC village today on demand of repairing the road.
The blockade continued for six hours. However the BJP supporters withdrew the blockade on the basis of assurance from administration to repair the road.
Sources said that the road at Ratanpur area went out of order for long time and it became unfit for movement of vehicles.
The local people failed to get any solution after complaining at local panchayat. At last 37 Mandal of BJP organized road blockade in the morning today.
