Tension prevailed at Kailashahar’s Kacheraghat area after a protest of students of Kacherghat Ramcharan high school went aggressive with the students setting tyres afire and putting wooden logs bringing vehicular movement to a standstill.
According to the students, a science teacher Debapriya Deb of the school had been recently transferred to another school which the students vehemently protested. The students argued, Deb was the only teacher who was teaching science and computer at the same time and if he was transferred, the students would face serious problems.
Locals’ administrative leaders and student leaders rushed to the spot and convene a meeting but as per the last information till filling the story no conclusive solution to the matter came up.
