Police administration of Teliamura subdivision is reluctant towards the drug dealers for unknown reason while Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb instructed the OCs of police stations under Khowai district to take stern action against the drug dealers and the miscreants who are trying disperse the law and order situation.
Sources said that OC of Teliamura Police Station is not taking step against the drug dealers for unknown reason. Sources said that a section of colleague of the police station is not cooperating although the OC is willing to take action.
A source of the police station said that the drug dealers get the information secretly from the police station before conducting any raid against the dealers or gamblers. Besides the authority of the police station is releasing the seized items and the accused persons through back door after arrest and seizure of items and filing case diary for showmanship.
At the same time the drug dealers are feeling encouraged by the inactive role of police and making the environment of the town polluted. The liquor addicted miscreants and agents of Teer and gambling are also increasing their activity in the town. As a result resentment is prevailing among people against inactive role of police.
