The common people of Gomati District Sardar Udaipur are suffering with coin of Rs.10 for long time. People are facing lots of trouble to pay car or auto fare with coin of Rs.10. Meanwhile Taruni Debnath, a resident of Purba Bagbasa under Bagma area sent such a complain to Transport minister Pranajit Sinha Roy.
In the complain letter he stated that his wife wanted to pay with coin of Rs.10 when she reached from Bagma Bazar to Gomati District Hospital by bus at 8 p.m. on September 1. The number of the bus was TR 03 1415. But the contractor scolded her with rude voice and misbehaved saying that the coin has been cancelled and he harassed the woman mentally.
Similar incident occurred when another woman paid Rs.10 by coin after arriving Bagma Bazar from Rajarbag Bus Stand. Later she bound to pay by note of Rs. 10.
Meanwhile DM, SP, Joint Transport Commissioner, SDM and DTO organized a meeting on the matter on September 25. In the meantime Transport department has taken action against passenger bus no TR03-1415 and TR-08 1205 according to instruction of DM. At the same time one officer of Transport department advised the complainer to settle the matter.
