Social organization NEXUS came forward to fulfill lack of blood at blood bank of Khowai Hospital. The organization came forward to organize blood donation camp when ruling party and branch organizations expressed their anxiety after vacancy of blood in Khowai Blood Bank today.
Sources said that NEXUS organized blood donation camp at Charganki area within a notice of few hours.
Altogether 24 donors donated blood today including men and women. Medical Superintendent of Khowai Hospital Dr. D. Reang, Khowai Mandal president of BJP Subrata Majumder and Panchayat Member Animesh Nag were present on the occasion.
President of NEXUS Sanjay Ghosh said that would organize more such camps in days to come.
