The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) on Tuesday organized a 2-day national conference on ‘Opportunities and challenges for petrochemicals and allied sectors in the North East region’ here at Agartala Pragna Bhavan.
The event saw the active participation of prominent leaders and experts from various organizations, making it a significant initiative to drive advancements in the field of petrochemical engineering and technology.
Chairman of the Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDC) Nabadal Banik has chaired the conference and provided valuable insights during the sessions. He said that the industrial sector of the state of Tripura is witnessing a remarkable growth based on abundant natural resources in the state.
He said that Tripura is emerging as a hub for various industries, contributing significantly to the state's economic development. This positive trend is a testament to the potential of the state's resources and the hard work of the people.
