Justice of Khowai District and Session Judge Court Goutam Sarkar inaugurated Mega Prayas programme on the occasion of Police Week today in presence of DM Pankaj Chakaraborty, SDM, SP and two members of Khowai Municipal Council. Member Usharani Bhattacharjee presided over the programme.
During speech Justice Sarkar stress on legal education of students, prevention of dowry system and to stop atrocity on women. He advised all to practice yoga and meditation to reduce attitude of crime and for development of mental and spiritual power.
He also stressed on resolution of all cases in collaboration of police and administration. Among others SDPO Sorabh Sen delivered speech.
