In a significant development, Maharaja Bir Bikram University has begun two new IMD (Integrated Masters’ Degree) courses in Chemistry and Commerce.
These two courses will enable the aspirant students to take admission after 12th standard and complete the entire master course at one go. Students will be also left with an option to leave the course after 3 years with a graduation certificate if required.
However, altogether 120 seats have been allotted for both courses with 60 admission seats each. Apart from that, vocational diploma courses in Spanish language, GST and Retail & sales Management along with Insurance risk management are also opened in the University with 60 seats each. All the courses were available in correspondence through evening classes. Meanwhile, the students of the University have also performed well in the PG final exams as 83 percent and 68 percent of the students have qualified in the MSC applied mathematics, Masters in Public Administration.
Cent percent passed the Bachelor in Library Science Course and 54 percent students passed in MA English.
