Locals demand intervention of EM against unruly Principal of College

Local people demanded intervention of Higher Education minister for investigation of corruption and unruliness of Principal of Teliamura Degree College.

Sources said that Principal of Teliamura Degree College Debabarata Roy spent huge fund from the fund of college for buying AC Machine, refrigerator for his own luxury and comfort. He has spent the amount within 14 months of his tenure as principal after his transfer from Khowai College.

Sources said that he has been involved in financial corruption by spending Rs. 3,36,991. Besides, allegation of financial misappropriation of UGC fund raised against teacher by internal audit report when he was DDO at Khowai College.

Sources said that misappropriation of Rs. 1.5 lakh found at non-government account of Teliamura Degree College. He spent the amount for unnecessary expenditure instead of depositing the fund admission fee and examination fee of students. Besides, he is involved in mismanagement of different documents of the college. 

The blessed professor of Left Front period was rehabilitated at Teliamura College during term of pervious government transferring Professor Kishore Roy. After the change of power in the state the principal converted into a saffron lover.

He has built up relation RSS, ABVP and BJP Mandal leaders and sawed seed of politics in the college. He has introduced divide and rule policy among the students, teachers, non teaching staffs to fulfill his own interest. He has no responsibility towards students and he has taken initiative to bring entire college in his capture by uttering his own political story.

He comes from Agartala by the train of 12 p.m. and goes to college by riding bike of another college staff. Again he goes back station from the college by bike of staff to ride on train towards Agartala at 3:30 p.m.

The CC camera of college starts functioning after his entry in the college and he shuts down the camera before his exit. As a result his time of entry and departure has no record.
