IPFT members expressed strong resentment in protest of deletion of 85 applicants name from Pradhan Matri Abas Yojana at Hichacherra ADC village at Santirbazar today.
In protest they locked the staffs of Hichacherra ADC Village at 12 p.m. and expressed their resentment in front of media.
Sources said that 179 applicants applied for PMAY at South Hichacherra village under Jolaibari. But the VC authority deleted name of 85 applicants without verifying ground of their eligibility. The allegation of IPFT is against BJP.
Meanwhile IPFT demanded proper investigation of the selection process and to provide room the eligible beneficiaries under PMAY after proper verification. They threatened to organize greater agitation in future if the authority fails to fulfill their demand.
