IPFT begins hunger strike at Killa

UDAIPUR:

Defying all conditions of BJP- IPFT Coordination committee IPFT leaders and workers started hunger strike on demand of their old demand Twipra Land at Killa Bazar from yesterday.

The agitators said that the hunger strike movement would continue as long as their demand would not be fulfilled.

Speaking to media IPFT leader Krishna Kanta Jamatia said that IPFT leaders and workers would take part in hunger strike from different areas of the state by rotation. He said, IPFT leaders and workers continued hunger strike yesterday.

Meanwhile large number of IPFT activists from Atharobhola and Kupilong continued hunger strike today. He further added that on necessity they would go for greater agitation.

Meanwhile the administration deployed large number of police and TSR at Killa and set up temporary police picket to avoid any untoward incident.

Although no delegation of administration met the agitators till today.
