On Thursday, the ICICI Foundation organised a 20-day long workshop on bamboo bottle making in the state industry at the auditorium of Sepahijala Zoological Gardens, one of the tourist destinations in the state.
Ardhendu Bikash Das, NLC in-charge of the forest department officially inaugurated the program. Sushant Singh, Development Officer, ICICI Foundation was also present in the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Ardhendu Bikash Das, NLC in-charge of the forest department, lauded their innovative initiative. He called upon all to come forward for the purpose of greening Tripura.
Besides, the Minister of State for Forests, Mevar Kumar Jamatia visited the Sepahijala swamp and inspected the workshop of ICICI Foundation. He said that this workshop of ICICI Foundation was found to be an invaluable gift during his visit to the Sepahijala swamp.
He said that in this workshop, the state government will play an important role in making the project a reality.
