Human Relief Society felicitated students from minority community today who passed Madhyamik, Higher Secondary and completed graduation and post graduation this year.
The programme was organized at Halahali Community Hall. The felicitation programme started by recitation from the Quoran.
MLA Anjan Das, MLA Bijoy Laxmi Sinha, president of the society Ansar Uddin, Sabhadhipati of Dhalai Zila Parishad Parimal Das and many other persons were present on the occasion.
Chief Guest MLA Anjan Das said, “Human being is the fittest creature of the world". So unity in diversity prevails among people in spite of difference if cast creed and language.
Altogether 50 students from Manipuri and Muslim community were felicitated on the occasion.
Besides, financial assistance provided to needy students to buy their text book.
