A housewife identified as Saraswati Das had been found hanged at her rented house in mysterious circumstances at Gobindapur area of Kailasahar.
Though it looks like a case of suicide, the matter needs to be cleared, police said. Reportedly, owing to constant family-related problems emerged between Saraswati and her husband, she decided to stay alone with her daughters at a rented house, she was found dead at the room she used to stay.
The mother of the deceased alleged that her son-in-law Ripan Sarkar had an illicit relationship with some other woman and he killed her daughter to get married once again.
