In an incident a group of miscreants ransacked house of Chief Organizer of Congress Seva Dal Jutan Debnath at 7:30 p.m. today.
Sources said that 6 to 7 youths ransacked furniture, TV, doors of the house in the evening entering at the house.
But police has not arrested anyone in connection with the incident.
Sources said that Jutan Debnath collected nomination paper from Election Department on November 26. He also joined at all party meeting called by DM today.
It is suspected that it was the reason behind the attack. The youths wearing cap and tying mouth with muffler attacked at his house at Ganki.
Although Jhutan Debnath was not at the house at time of attack. The incident created tension and resentment among the Congress leaders and workers.
Congress announced to organize movement in protest of the incident tomorrow.
