The Tripura Royal Scion Pradyot Kishore Debbarman's helping aide for the Madhab Bari victims seems to have given a rousing welcome to the Chief Minister Biplab Deb this morning at Agartala GBP Hospital and Jirania Madhab Bari. Chief Minister today morning paid a visit to the bullet injured tribal men at the hospital to take a note of their situation and later rushed to Jirania Madhab Bari, where the firing incident took place on January 8 and left three injured with bullet.
During the visit today Chief Minister announced Rs. 50,000 to the affected families whose shops were burnt in the incident. The Chief Minister also urged upon to maintain peace and harmony among the tribals and non-tribals in this state.
Meantime, Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Debbarman during his visit has alleged that sections of wings are trying to put communal tension among the tribals and non-tribals.
What made the Chief Minister's visit more interesting is that, for the first time after the incident, the Chief Minister despite his busy schedule made a visit to the Madhab Bari victims at Jirania. One cannot deny to the fact that no government representative or the concerned administration visited the spot and talked to the victims, who made a major loss with the burning of their shops at Jirania during the incident. The concerned Majlishpur MLA Sushanta Chiwdhury even remained back track from visiting the affected families prior the visit of other sections.
It is worthy to mention here that the locals have a rousing welcome to Pradyot during his visit accompanied by IPFT and other tribal wings.
