First Divisional Conference of Tripura Government Group-D Karmachari Samiti inaugurated at Karbook Multipurpose Hall today. Altogether 125 delegates were present in the conference from different parts of the subdivision.
Inaugurating the conference MLA Priyamani Debbarma said, NDA Government led by BJP is implementing anti-people policy refusing the assurances which were given before election. Unemployed youths have lost their aim to get employed. In the meantime the profitable government organizations are being sorted out to hand over those to private parties.
He further said, once there was no scope development work in Karbook subdivision. Many employees became victim of murder, abduction by the terrorists. The names of victim employees are Mangal Chand Reang, Durmalal Reang, Aswiram Reang, Dharmajoy Tripura and Chandramani Debbarma. All of them were murdered. The area retained peace and harmony and got developed as a result of sacrifice by the persons. Meanwhile BJP started terrorism at rural and urban areas by utilizing IPFT.
He appealed to all to promise to elect 8th Left Front Government in the assembly poll, 2018.
Earlier president of the organization Aghore Tripura hoisted the flag of the organization before inaugural programme.
Among others Gopal Poddar, Sachibala Debbarma, Babul Shil, Bidesh Saha, Birendra Tripura were present among president and members of Managing committee. New Divisional committee formed with 53 members, Executive Committee formed with 24 members, secretariat formed with 13 members.
Jasim Tripura elected secretary, Aghore Tripura elected president and Athai Tripura elected treasurer. Babul Shil and Gopal Podder included in advisory body.
