A delegation of administration and TRTC visited the abandoned land of TRTC today in order to construct a parking zone to reduce traffic jam at Dharmanagar town.
Chairman of TRTC Dipak Majumder, Managing Director Keshab Kar, Board of Director Usha Ranjan Ghosh, SPO Shyamal Banik, SDM Subrata Das and Deputy Speaker of State Assembly Biswabandhu Sen were among the delegation members who visited three kani land of Barasi. Meanwhile a proposal of converting the land into parking zone was accepted by administration.
The administration has taken the decision to reduce traffic jam as number of vehicles from state and out of the state is increasing everyday in the town. As a result traffic jam is creating problem for easy conveyance. The delegation visited Dharmanagar depending on assurance of Deputy Speaker Sen and TIDC Chairman Tinku Roy. Roy gave a proposal to increase income of TIDC by utilizing different land of TIDC.
Meanwhile the State Government has taken the decision to revive the services of TRTC and to bring back the work culture. At the same time the proposal of introducing bus service for college students has taken under consideration. The proposal of introducing bus service from Kanchanpur, Dashda, Panisagar, Ananda Bazar, Damcherra, Jalebasa, Kadamtala, Churaibari and Shanicherra was accepted.
