Malpractice of ration dealers which started during the period of Left Front is still prevailing during term of present government.
It came out after verification of ration card no 55 under ration shop no-6 of Dharmanagar.
Sources said that member of Ration card no -55 Mukti Ranjan Dey died before 7 years. But the dead consumer is still enjoying all facilities of ration card still now. It seems that Late Mukti Ranjan Dey is still alive according to documents of the state government.
Many times verification of ration cards conducted earlier. But the family members of Late Dey enjoyed the facilities of BPL card as they were the supporter of Left Front. Another member of the card Khela Dey, wife of Late Mukti Ranjan Dey is still enjoying facilities of old age allowance and BPL card in spite of being a former government employee.
Similarly consumers of ration card no -45 under same ration shop Radharani Dey enjoying all facilities of BPL card in spite of being pensioner. At the same time accused of different corruption cases and CITU leader Brata Chakraborty and Santibrata Chakraborty had refused to show their ration cards when survey staffs went for verification of their cards.
It seems how employees, pensioners and owners of huge property went on increasing BPL card by adding level of Left supporter. As a result number of BPL card holder increased in the state up to 63 percent which is a record in the country.
