Customer losses Rs. 75000 from account

KHOWAI:

An amount of Rs. 75,000 vanished from the account of a customer at Padmabil Branch of Tripura Gramin Bank. Sources said that bank customer Chitta Debbarma of Baluabari sent a written complaint to the Bank Manager.

He alleged that someone siphoned off Rs. 75,000 from existing Rs. 80,000 at his account. He demanded justice and to get back his amount within 48 hours.

Meanwhile the Bank Manager Arup Sinha Roy said through telephonic interview that he had informed everything to authority and authority would reply.

He further said, Adhar Number of another person added at the bank account of Chitta Debbarma. As a result the person withdrew the amount without any hindrance. Adhar link held in 2016-17.

Govt slashes prices of 41 medicines

Antacids, multivitamins, and antibiotics are among the medicines that will become cheaper, according to a notification issued by the Department of Pharmaceuticals and National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA).
