In a heart-wrenching incident, two minor love birds had been spotted hanging in a rubber plantation belonging to one Sudhangshu Debnath of East Laxmibil area under the Bishalgarh sub-division on Friday.
According to police sources, the girl used to study at East Laxmi Bil Higher Secondary school whereas the boy came from Chikancherra.
The girl ventured out of the home on the previous morning for school. As she did not return following her regular schedule, her family members thought she would have gone for tuitions but as the night deepened, her family members tried to search her in the locations she might have gone.
Failing to get any clue, they lodged a missing diary with the Bishalgarh women police station.
However, in the next morning, she was found hanging with her male friend whom she loved. The family members rubbished all the love related theories and requested the police for a fair investigation on the matter.
Meanwhile, police handed over the dead bodies to the family members of the deceased after autopsy. Some sources said that both of them were deeply in love and fearing the family resistance they took the drastic step.
