Two contractors assaulted by the negotiators when they went to submit tender form at Tripura Tribal Rehabilitation Division of Kumarghat yesterday.
At press conference after the incident the victims Hirak Jyoti Nath (Pragati Road) and Debabrata Debnath of Uptakhali alleged that they went to submit tender at TTR Division by car to submit tender form on behalf of Roy Trading Concern of Dharmanagar. Tuesday was the last date of submission of tender for Solar Sub mar gable Tender. Then some locals instructed them not to submit tender.
The miscreants hit Hirak with lathi and snatched mobile phone and tender form when they went to talk with officers of the department. They also attacked Debabrata Nath.
On being afraid the driver fled away along with them by car. Later they took shelter at Pecharthal Police Station and filed a case against the attackers.
