Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday left for New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday.
Speaking on the matter, Chief Minister Dr Saha said that he will attend the meeting of Ministers of Disaster Management which will be chair by Union Home Minister Amit Shah
“The Home Minister has called for a meeting with all the minister of disaster management department. As I am also the minister of disaster management of Tripura I will leave for Delhi today to chair attend the meeting”, said the Saha.
He further informed that he is also likely to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Time also fixed to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and tomorrow I am meeting him at Delhi”, said the CM.
Though he didn’t reveal on what matter he will hold talks with PM Modi, but if sources close to CM Saha are to be believed the CM would hold discussion on the overall issues of the state.
On the visit of BJP National president JP Nadda, CM said, “At first we have heard that he will come on June 18 but now he will arrive here on June 16 and on June 17 he will address a gathering and would hold a meeting too.”
