CM inaugurated blood donation camp at Dhansagar Shyama Puja

UDAIPUR:

The Chief Minister of previous government made a dynasty of addiction behind his honesty. As a result Tripura became the only state in India which became corridor of addiction, said Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb while inaugurating Blood Donation Camp organized on the occasion of Shyama Puja at the bank of Dhanisagar of Udaipur today.

Chief Minister inaugurated the blood donation camp at 11 am in presence of Tourism and Transport minister Pranajit Sinha Roy and local MLA Biplab Ghosh.

Criticizing previous Chief Minister for remaining unaware about illegal ganja plantation all over the state he said, “If the previous Chief Minister remain unaware about ganja plantation after ruling state for 20 years it proves that he was not eligible for the post of Chief Minister.” He appealed the women to handover contraband items to the administration if anyone sells such items in the society or villages.

Speaking on the occasion Tourism minister Pranajit Sinha Roy said, “Mata  Tripureswari  Temple is one among 51 Peeths of Bharat barsha. The Utsav on the occasion of Shyama puja at the bank of Dhanisagar is second largest festival after Diwali in Tripureswari Temple. Recalling large number of gathering of devotees from out of state and Bangladesh on the occasion of Diwali Festival at the city of temple he said, “Tourism department will decorate Udaipur along with other places of the state within next one year.”

Altogether 53 persons donated blood on the occasion including 10 women.

On the occasion Matabari Mahila Morcha donated Rs. 5000 to the Relief Fund of Chief Minister.
