The election campaign of the BJP has gained massive momentum as Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has intensified the campaigning for the BJP candidates in the Boxanagar and Dhanpur assembly constituencies, where by-elections are slated to be held on September 05.
As on other days, the Chief Minister today also attended a campaign in favor of the BJP candidate Tofajjal Hussain in the Boxanagar Assembly Constituency.
On this day, Dr. Saha held a padayatra in the Araliya area of Boxanagar Assembly Constituency, during which he stated that voting for the BJP in the upcoming by-elections means voting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which will contribute to the rapid development and progress.
During today’s poll campaign, the Chief Minister received an immense response from the local people during the padayatra.
Dr. Saha has participated in political programs in both constituencies several times in the past few days.
Today, Dr. Saha took part in the election campaign by walking several kilometers along with the candidate in the Araliya area of this assembly constituency.
During the campaign, he highlighted the efforts of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government towards the overall development of the state and for the welfare of the people. He also informed the people about the public-oriented schemes of the central and state governments.
In addition, the Chief Minister visited the residence of the Vice Chairman of the local Panchayat Samiti, Irshad Miya.
