Of these, 21 have been officially tendered and 3 old cameras have been repaired. These high-quality cameras will provide good picture quality at the night, said SDM Shanti Ranjan Chakma, executive officer of Pura Parishad.

These advanced cameras will provide adequate support to keep the city safe and to identify the culprits if any crime is organized. 8 lakh 91 thousand has been spent including the purchase of 21 cameras and its overall cost. The control room of this CCTV camera will be in the Kailashahar police station. However, the average cost of 21 cameras is Rs 42428.

This is the first time a CCTV camera with an internet connection has been installed in Kailashahar. Those who have done this work through tender will provide internet service completely free of cost for 3 years.
