Four days long Dhalai District level Book fair inaugurated at Halahali School with initiative of RAMSA project yesterday.
Sabhadhipati of Dhalai Zila Parshad Parimal Chandra Das inaugurated the fair with joint initiative of Dhalai District Education department.
Among others MLA Bijoy Laxmi Sinha, District Education officer Samiran Malakar, Chairman of Durga choumuhani Block Manabendra Deb, Chairman of Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat Subrata Bhattacharjee and large number of book lovers were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion MLA Bijoy Laxmi Sinha said, Book fair is a part of education. It is possible to influence students, youths and old person by the book.
Sources said that 28 stalls opened in the book fair with assistance of Tripura Book Sellers and Publishers.
