BJP announced candidates list for 15 seats of Teliamura Nagar Panchayat in spite of dispute among the party workers to contest at ensuing by-poll of Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat.
MLA Kalyani Roy announced the candidates list at a press conference at Teliamura Mandal Office in the afternoon today. Among the candidates 7 are women.
Meanwhile suppressed resentment sparked among the party workers after reaching the candidates list to them through whats app.
As a result MLA Kalyani Roy had to face the resentment of party workers. The workers alleged that they could not accept the announced candidates for ward no 1,2,3,5,8,9,10 and 11.
In this context MLA Roy said, the candidates got selection according to decision of State Committee. MLA Roy had no intervention to select the candidates, she added.
