In a bid to strengthen grassroots connect and evaluate the impact of government welfare schemes, the Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday rolled out its Jan Sampark Abhiyan across Agartala and other parts of the state.
BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharya led the campaign from the front, interacting with residents in different areas of the capital to gauge public awareness and firsthand experiences regarding various Central and State-level schemes.
“This outreach is not just about informing people of the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha. It is about hearing directly from the people—whether these schemes are reaching them, whether they are making a difference,” Bhattacharya said.
The Jan Sampark Abhiyan has been launched in alignment with the BJP’s Foundation Day initiatives. As part of the campaign, the party has mobilised its entire organisational machinery—from Ministers and MLAs to Corporators, District Presidents, and senior leaders—to connect with citizens on the ground.
The initiative aims to bridge any gaps between policy and implementation while reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to participatory governance.
