Former PCC president Birajit Sinha demanded to deploy CRPF at each and every booth of East Tripura Lok sahha constituency. He also demanded to file FIR against polling staffs who would not work abiding by guideline of Election Commission. Sinha said this at a press conference organized at Congress Bhavan in Kailashahar today.
Expressing satisfaction on deferring the election date of East Tripura constituency he expected that people would be able to exercise franchise peacefully. Referring Election Commission became aware of the incident he said, Congress will show black flag to when BJP leader Sunil Deodhar will visit Kailashahar.
He further alleged that BJP supporter employees have been engaged for election duty while other employees of opposition supporter were avoided.
Meanwhile Sinha attracted attention of Election Commission to file FIR and punish with imprisonment against the staffs who would not work with responsibility. Among others General Secretary of PCC Rudrendu Bhattacharjee and District Congress president Badrujjaman were present at the press conference.
