Belchara defeated Darogamura by 2-1 and thus won the title of the one month long Bir Bandhu Cup Football tournament organized by Mohanpur TSR 1st battalion. The final match of the tournament held yesterday and with this the one month long tournament also came to an end.
In the 2nd minute of the match Belchara took the lead with the goal from Manish Telenga while in the 35th minute of the match Darogamura succeeded to equalize the score as the goal has been scored by Banbir Koloi. Just before the end of the match Rinku Debbarma scored the winning goal for Belchara.
To witness the final match every corner of the field was totally filled as Manish Telenga won the man of the match award. To witness the final MLA Pranab Debbarma, Commandant TSR 1stbattalion Tapan Kumar Debnath, SDPO Suman Majumder and TTAADC member Kumod Debbarma remained present.
