Democracy is in stake in the state, said CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar while addressing media at Kamalpur subdivision after meeting with family members of Late Anima Sen who died recently in bike accident.
Referring wife murdered in allegation of involvement of husband with CPI-M he said, “Five women became martyr till this time in the state including Sen during period of the coalition government”
He said, “we came here to convey our sympathy to the martyr.”
Speaking on the occasion MP Jitendra Choudhury said, “One incident proves how the democracy of the state is in stake.”
Referring CPI-M is a recognized political party which is not banned in the country he said, “People are being murdered here in allegation of working for the party here. The incident proves how much the ruling party could become barbaric.” He further said, “It is predictable what is happening in the state if the incident could occur adjacent to house of minister”
Earlier State Secretary Bijan Dhar and MP Jitendra Choudhury organized a meeting at Ambassa District Office of CPI-M in presence of District Committee members and Divisional members according to the decision of the State Committee.
Later Bijan Dhar and Choudhry went to the house of Anima Sen who died in bike accident before few days.
Late Sen’s husband Biswanath Sen alleged that he joined a meeting at District Committee Office on September 10. He is local committee member of Noagaon area. A group of miscreants attacked their house at night on September 11 in allegation of his joining in the meeting. They covered their face by black cloth. During attack Anima Sen injured seriously. In such a situation her mother died by breathing problem. Injured Sen died in bike accident on October 12. The family members heavily shocked by two consecutive incidents of death.
