Acting on secret information police staff of Udaipur subdivision led by SDPO Himadri Prasad Das arrested four gamblers, recovered Rs. 30,000, 20 calculators, 6 mobile phone sets and items of Teer gambling from Harkathang area under Killa Police Station today.
It is one of the biggest success of the subdivision police against Teer gambling.
In the operation police arrested Sashi Kumar Jamatia (34), Suresh Jamatia (27), Narendra Jamatia (34) and Hangrai Kumar Jamatia from Bagma Khamarbari.
Sources said that a large contingent of police led by OC Biswajit Debbarma were present on the occasion.
