MLA Bijoy Laxmi Sinha inaugurated a Bekar Stall at Panboa ADC village in Kamalpur subdivision today. It is known as a remote area of Dhalai district.
About 3000 people reside in the village. Majority of villagers are from tribal community. The villagers’ sale and buy different items depending on a small market of the village.
MLA Bijoy Laxmi Sinha allotted Rs. 7 lakh from MLA’s Development Fund and constructed a Bekar Stall with five rooms. Today she handed over the newly constructed stalls to five unemployed persons through a short programme.
Among others BDO of Salema Block Uttam Kumar Bhowmik, Salema BAC Chairman Swapna Chakraborty, Upa Pradhan of Panchayat Binay Debbarma were present in the programme.
