People of Dharmanagar are suffering from panic of ATM. Sometimes they are getting money and many a time they fail draw money from ATM counters. The suffering of consumers reached at ultimate stage at some banks of the subdivision.
Sources said that notes of rupees are not coming out after performing all rules of drawing money through ATM.
Even some consumers alleged that money reduced from their account although they failed to draw the amount through ATM.
At last the customers who became victims of the situation met with Manager of SBI. Manager said that the customers would have to wait for 15 to 30 days for entry of the amount at their accounts. On that the customers wanted to know the reason behind late entry. Then the Manager of SBI misbehaved with them. He said that the reduced amount would not enter at their account and many customers have not got their curtailed amount from their accounts by that process.
Meanwhile, sources said that there is no temporary power generation system at almost all ATMs of Dharmanagar. As a result the customers fail to get delivery of rupees when power cut occurs just before time of delivery after completion of all process of drawing and the amount shows reduced from account.
On being asked about the allegation the Chief Manager of SBI said, their complain should be lodged to Control Bank at Agartala. As a result the customers of Dharmanagar State Bank expressed strong resentment on service of the bank and they are suffering from panic.
