Ambassa Municipal Council based Sarad Samman, 2017 organised at G.C. Road yesterday. The programme organized with initiative of Ambassa Press Club in collaboration with Ambassa Municipal Council.
Inaugurating the function Chairperson of Ambassa Municipal Council Chandan Bhowmik thanked all Puja organizers of the subdivision.
Among others MLA Lalit Debbarma, SP of Dhalai Smriti Ranjan Das, ADM D.K. Chakma, SDM J.B. Doati were attended the programme.
On the occasion 25 Puja Organizers felicitated in seven categories with beautiful trophy and memento. About 6 clubs were felicitated under Idol Category including Ambassa Bazar Byabsayi, Subhash Palli Sarbajanin, Vivekananda Nagar Sabajanin, Ramthakur Sangha, and Parental. Besides, Pallimangal Yubak Sangha, Nabadiganta, Oikyatan Sangha and Nutan Palli Sarbajanin felicitated for colourful decoration with lighting.
Among others Recreation Dalubari, Ambedkar Nagar Yuba Sanstha, Santikami Sangha, Naba Tarun Sangha were felicitated for organizing peaceful puja by maintaining discipline.
Besides, Jagriti Club, Jawharnagar, Santipara Puja Committee, Bankumari Puja Committee, TRTC Para Kalibari Puja Committee felicitated specially for overall performance in puja. Bhaoya Basti Mahila Samiti received best award among the puja organized by women organizers.
On the occasion Feedback Musical Group performed a colourful cultural prgramme which entertained all the spectators with songs of singers like Puja Goswami, Suchismita, Srikanta Saha and Rajesh.
