Altogether six students received special prizes at Annual Prize Distribution programme of Dharmanagar Girl’s High School today.
Deputy Speaker of Assembly Biswabandhu Sen, Deputy Director of Education department of North Barun Das, Headmaster Rabindra Malakar and Social worker Jawhar Chakraborty attended the programme among the distinguished guests.
On the occasion retired Headmistress of the school Tuku Bhowmik opened an account amounting Rs. 1 lakh in the name of Subhasini Trust.
Altogether five talented and under privileged students from class XI and XII awarded this year from the interest of this account.
The students received Rs. 3000 each. Besides, one girl received financial assistance Rs. 2000 in memory of Late Dr. Jitendranath Kar and Late Bidyutrekha Kar.
Apart from this other students were also felicitated today under different categories.
