48 hrs strike at Killa ends within tensed situation

UDAIPUR:

48 Hours strike call by IPFT on demand of termination of BAC Chairman at Killa Block ended within tensed situation today. Sources from Killa said that the bandh passed peacefully yesterday. But the situation turned violent when the car of MLA and BAC Chairman Rampada Jamatia damaged some flags of IPFT at the time of passing a bridge nearby his residence. About 10 to 12 flags fell down by dashing of the car.

Immediately large number of IPFT supporters assembled at the premises MLA’s residence. On being informed SDPO Himadri Das arrived on the spot with large contingent of police. Although the situation is under control till the last report came in.

Meanwhile shops, market of Killa Block area still remained closed and the roads are vacant today as an impact of the bandh. No businessman or shopkeeper dared to open shop or bring items for selling today although today was Haat day of Killa. Even no vehicle moved on the road and the situation remained tensed till today.

Earlier also IPFT called separately 12 and 24 hours bandh on demand of terminating MLA Rampada Jamatia from the post of BAC Chairman Killa Block. Local leaders of IPFT said that 96 hours bandh would be called in next turn if the administration fails terminate Rampada Jamatia.

Meanwhile the local leaders of IPFT demanded to constitute core committee between two political parties to solve the problem. At the same time the local leaders claimed that most of the village committees of ADC are occupied by IPFT. In spite of that BJP is showing dominance to take decision about different issues of ADC. Meanwhile Killa Block went under coverage of security personnel to avoid any untoward incident regarding bandh.
